Manages synchronous and asynchronous file transfers between clients and servers on the network.
If this service is stopped, synchronous and asynchronous file transfers between clients and servers
on the network will not occur. If this service is
disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
This service sends driver information to Microsoft to track availability of driver information.
This service is not required for basic File and Print sharing. I have yet to find a need for this
service, nor do I wish to send my hardware information to Microsoft.
